FESTIVAL
Thank you to all who attended the 2024
SATURDAY, JUNE 8, 2024
11 am - 4 pm | Beaudette Park | 786 Orchard Lake Rd., Pontiac
The Art Fish Fun Festival began in 2014 as an effort to combine environmental education with arts and crafts and to bring the community together to celebrate both at Beaudette Park in Pontiac. This unique collaboration between Pure Oakland Water, the arts non-profit The Art Experience, the office of the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner and the City of Pontiac has grown from 150 guests in 2014 to over 800 in the following years and has continued to bring people together in celebration of the arts and the environment.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and we can provide everyone with activities like painting with fish, building bird houses, face painting, bounce houses and a free BBQ lunch. This official River Day event kicks off with a park cleanup every year and ends with Commissioner Nash teaching kids how to fish. We have removed over 2,000 pounds of debris from the park since this event began.
